  16. "The CMU MIDI Toolkit (CMT) is a software package designed for experimental computer music education, composition, performance, and research.  CMT includes:
  17. 1) Adagio: a simple text-based music language, and software for recording, playing, and converting text to/from standard MIDI files.
  18. 2) A real-time programming environment, based on C, that is ideal for writing interactive music programs.
